I saw a pretty Fourth Of July wreath made with red, white, and blue roses (on Lillian Vernon website). However, the wreath was much too small for my front door. While in Dollar Tree, I noticed they had red, white, and blue carnations... perfect for making my version of the wreath! I bought several bunches of the carnations and picked up a wreath form.
For about $12.00 and under an hour, this is the result. Iam pleased with how it turned out. I used a paper punch for the stars.
Thanks for stopping by.

wow, that is a great wreath!
Very cute! Reminds me of a float in a 4th of July parade!
Wow - that is cute!!!
How Clever!!! Great door decor for the 4th!!
OH MY GOSH! This wreath is fantastic!! You did a PERFECT job! Thanks so much for sharing!
I LOVE how your wreath turned out! There's just something about red, white, and blue that just so festive, don't you think? I'm also thinking about how to adopt this technique (using different colored carnations) for other holidays too!
I love this wreath! It is really stunning.
This is so pretty! I love it!
Love this wreath!
Thanks for the inspiration.
Nice job! ou would never known they were dollar store flowers! Great!
Awesome wreath!
That looks fantastic! I wish I had thought to look at the DT when I was doing my project... I needed those blue carnations!!! :)
Happy 4th!!
Lovely wreath! I clicked over from Centsational Girl's party b/c I wanted to see what it was made of. Love the flowers. :)
Now that is pretty darned nifty! I would love that on my door, but I might get booted out of the country. We do get to go to the American Clubs 4th of July celebration here - should be fun! Looking forward to it. It is really weird not celebrating the 4th... and so many other American holidays.
Love your wreath!
Wow! It looks beautiful! :) Very classy!

Hi Lisa. This is perfectly cute! Isn't it funny ~ it's one of those ideas where you go "why didn't I think of that". So simple, at least after someone gives you the idea. What a crafty person you are.
Hugs...Tracy :)
I love your wreath! And I'm just amazed at all the great ideas I'm seeing at the Stars and Stripes Party. It's so nice to meet you!
Happy 4th!
