Sketch Challenge SC187

I am really enjoying the challenges over at Split Coast. I find myself trying things a little different from what I normally do... a little outside my box. This week I decided to also challenge myself to use up some of my leftover supplies... you know, after you make a scrapbook page or card and have all the bits and pieces of paper and embellishments left over. I decided to use them for the sketch challenge this week.

The butterflies and sentiment I used were leftover stickers from quite a while back (this particular company is no longer in business), and the swirl on the inside of the card is one of those rub-on's I was "saving" for something special because I thought it was so pretty. LOL! Well, I am not going to allow myself to do that anymore. Okay, enough blah, blah, blah... here is this weeks sketch.

And here is my attempt. The papers are all DCWV and the bling and brads are from Hobby Lobby. I thought the black cardstock added contrast and made the colors really pop. Thanks for looking!
