For Christmas I made this set (and gift box) for my husbands Aunt. She liked it so well, she asked me to make two more sets in pastel colors for her to give as gifts to her friends. Both sets are exactly the same, so only one set is in the photo. Each set has a total of 8 cards. All the sentiments are from a rub-on sheet I had in my stash and the paper I have had for about 2 years... it's so nice to use up what I have on hand. :-) Thanks for looking!

You Steal My Heart
Another card for Taylor's Cupcake Anniversary Challenge. This card uses Ana's sketch.
I just received this stamp set from The Greeting Farm and couldn't wait to use it. I stamped the little guy twice, colored him with Prismacolor Pencils and Stampin Up! chalks, then layered him with dimensionals. I stamped the ghost heart shape with a "love" background stamp using white StazOn ink, then punched holes in it and added a button and twine. I added a few layers to the inside of the card too. Thanks for looking.
Cardstock: Bazzill
Ink: StazOn
Stamp: The Greeting Farm - Sweet Deal; Hero Arts - Wordprints, Love
Accessories: Prismacolor Pencils, Stampin Up! Chalks, Heidi Swapp Ghost Heart, Offray Twine, Button, Colorbok Metal Dots

I've Got A Crush On You
Another card for Taylor's cupcake challenge. This one uses Jami's sketch. I stamped in Versamark and embossed with black embossing powder. The hearts are from a border punch... I inked the edges of the hearts with black. Thanks for looking.

Cupcake Challenge
I made this card using Taylor's Cupcake challenge sketch. I stamped the cupcakes 3 times and then pieced them together. The "icing" was stamped on glitter paper... I wasn't sure if that would even work, but thought I would give it a try. Thanks for looking.

Valentine Cards

Valentine, Be Mine
I combined two challenges in this card... Amy's sketch challenge (see sketch below) and Verve's Looking For Love release challenge day one (use colors Riding Hood Red, Blush and Kraft). I also used my very first Verve stamp set. Remember the card from this post? Well, guess who had a stamp set called Wild Thing... and it was on sale!
I used one of the hearts from the Wild Thing set, stamped it several times in Versamark, embossed with red embossing powder and arranged it to look kind of like a flower. I think I purchased the brad at Hobby Lobby. Thanks for looking!

Mojo Monday Sketch #68
This is a frist for me... I have actually completed the Mojo Monday Sketch on Monday! Go Me!!! I am still using up more of my stash here. The sentiment is a rub-on... I know, you are wondering how many rub-on's I have. Trust me... you don't want to know. :-)
Thanks for looking.

Another Double Challenge Card
Challenge #4 for Jacksonbelle Embellishments is to make a birthday card. I decided to use the Viva La Verve Sketch for another 2-in-1 card. In keeping with my New Year's Resolution, all the items used on this card are from my scrap drawer and from my very large stash. The Verve sketch has a "twist"... we must use hardware somewhere on the card. I have some jumbo bookplates from Basic Grey that I tried really hard to use on this card... but it just wasn't meant to be, so my hardware is the three black metal brads in the bottom left corner.
Thanks for looking!

Jacksonbelle Embellishments Challenge #3
Challenge #3 for Jacksonbelle Embellishments was to make a card that reflected our New Years Resolution. My resolution was to use my stash, so here is a very simple card using papers from the scrap drawer and what else... but more rub-on's. You would not believe the # of rub-on's I own. For this card, I also used a Fiskars border punch that I have had for at least 10 years. It has been several years since this guy has seen any love... I think he smiled a little. ;-) Thanks for looking.
Jacksonbelle Embellishments Challenge #2
This card is for Jacksonbelle Embellishments Challenge #2. The challenge was to create a black & white card with either metalic or glitter accents. In keeping with my New Years Resolution to use my stash... all the cardstock is from my scrap drawer, the butterfly and circle are Rub-On's I have had forever, the bling is from my large collection (I am a bling addict) and the silver brads are from my stash of approximately 10 million brads... you think I'm exaggerating, but I'm not...well maybe a little. Thanks for looking!
A Double Challenge
I think this may be a first for me... combining two challenges into one card. I used Taylors sketch TECC49 and the Jacksonbelle Embellishments New Years Challenge #1. I also was able to incorporate my New Years Resolution into this card (to use up my stash)... so I guess that makes it three challenges in one card. Go Me!!! :-)
The papers are all from my scrap drawer (even the cardstock), the flowers are some old die cuts I have had for years, and the sentiment is a rub-on from my very large stash of rub-on's. Thanks for looking!

Wild Thing
I heard this song this morning (Wild Thing... You Make My Heart Sing...) and couldn't get it out of my head. Then I remembered that I had some animal print paper, and this is what happened. :-)
I used Julee's Mojo Monday Sketch for the layout. I used a Sizzix die to cut the hearts from DCWV glitter paper (one of those mat stacks you can get for 50% off at Hobby Lobby). I created the sentiment image in Publisher... the font I used is Ma Sexy. Thanks for looking!
Cardstock: Bazzill
Paper: Paper Studio, zebra print; DCWV, Glitter Paper
Accessories: Offray Ribbon, Font, Ma Sexy
Tools: Nestabilities Scallop Rectangle
